Tathya Portal or App aims to empower the Women & Child Development Department through an unified data portal to facilitate data verification/validation, project supervision, and project/scheme management for Government of Odisha to improve the nutritional outcomes of children, adolescents, pregnant women and lactating mothers by leveraging technology.
Governed by Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Odisha, hereinafter referred to as “W&CD”, “our”, “us”, “we” which shall include a reference to other departments and divisions of the program/campaign. References to Tathya Portal or App in this policy include Tathya App or any other Apps or portals that are integrated with Tathya App through APIs / related sites, apps, communications and services (“Services”) hereinafter collectively referred to as “Tathya App”.
Our Privacy Policy applies when use the Services as described below. This Privacy Policy is meant to help in understand what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used and shared. The collecting and retaining agency in respect of information is W&CD.
We are committed to protecting the security of personal information and safeguard privacy. Any information or data collected and processed on the System is done in accordance with the provisions of Information Technology Act, 2000 read with its Rules and other national and state laws relating to the collection and processing of personal data.
This Privacy Policy is required to be read in conjunction with the Terms of Service available at https://tathya.estpl.net:8445/privacy-policy.html. Access to and use of the System is conditional upon acceptance of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. By accessing and/or using the System, the user represent that he/she have read, understood and bound by the Terms of Service of this Privacy Policy, and that the user consent for their information and data being collected, stored and used in the manner laid out in this Privacy Policy.
1.INFORMATION WE VALIDATE
1.1 Information provide to us.
We validate the content and other information that the user provided in the Poshan Tracker app when the beneficiaries use the Services. This can include- (i) Name (ii) Mobile number (iii) Date of Birth (iv)Gender (v) Name of Child (vi) Mother Name (vii) Father Name (viii) Aadhaar Number (ix) Address (x) Bank Details
1.2 Information from use of services.
We log usage data when the user visit or otherwise use the Services, including our sites, app and platform technology. We may use various technologies to collect and store information, including cookies, local storage, such as browser web storage or application data caches, databases, and server logs to collect and use information in certain cases
1.3. Information from third parties.
System provides API to Third – Party Sites that may collect personal information. Tathya App is not in any manner responsible for the security of such information or their privacy practices or content of those Third – Party Sites. Additionally, the user may also encounter “cookies” or other similar devices on certain pages of the Third – Party Sites and it is hereby clarified by Tathya App that the System does not control the use of cookies by these Third – Party Sites. These third-party service providers and Third-Party Sites may have their own privacy policies governing the storage and retention of users information that may be subjected to. This Privacy Policy does not govern any information provided to, stored on, or used by these third-party providers and Third-Party Sites. We recommend that when a Third-Party Site is entered, Third Party Site’s privacy policy may be reviewed as it relates to safeguarding of information. It may be agreed and acknowledge that Tathya App will not be liable for the information published in search results or by any Third-Party Sites.
2.HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION
2.1. Verification and Validation.
We use the information collected to verify personal information. The records may be used for validation of data for the purposes of different scheme management under W&CD Department.
2.2. Deliver our services.
The information validated under Clause 1, shall be used for the purpose of facilitating the scheme management for beneficiaries. We provide our products, which includes updating, securing, and troubleshooting the information/data/ materials and the contents of the System, as well as providing support. On registration on Tathya App, the Name/ Mobile number with which the user registered, will be used to locate record from the database.
2.3. Research and operational activities.
We also use the data to operate our services, which includes effective scheme management, analyzing performance, meeting legal obligations, developing workforce, and research. We may also use the information to perform certain necessary operation for improvement of the System and for all acts incidental or ancillary to the provision of the System and for developing and providing new technologies and services.
3. SHARING OF INFORMATION
3.1. Validating Beneficiary Details.
The personal information validated under Clause 1, will be stored securely and only be used by the Government of Odisha or Central Government for the purpose of different scheme management, tracking progress and maintain status, generating reports, heat maps and other statistical visualizations for the purpose of the management of different scheme running under W&CD department, Govt. of Odisha.
3.2. RETENTION
All personal information validated under Clauses 1 will be retained on the application Server to the extent that such information relates to people who have been registered for different schemes under W&CD for a reasonable time for backup, archival, and/or audit purposes
4. DATA SECURITY
Tathya App has reasonable security measures and safeguards in place to protect privacy and personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, destruction, and alteration of the information in compliance with applicable laws.
5.CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY
Tathya App reserves unconditional right to change, modify, add, or remove any part of this Privacy Policy at any time, without specifically notifying of such changes. Any changes or updates will be effective immediately from time to time. Review this Privacy Policy regularly for changes.
